Aztec Suns
3rd Grade students created their own sun gods inspired by the ancient Aztecs. Students carved their sun gods on aluminum paper, then added marker to bring it to life. They then created patterned collages for frames.
Frida Kahlo Self-Portraits
1st grade students learned about Frida Kahlo and were inspired to create their own self-portraits (and backgrounds).
