Our favorite Hammond memories:
- "Some of my favorite Hammond memories were in 6th and 7th grade. In 6th, the bond the whole classroom had with each other and the time we would joke around were the best memories. I still remember the time some of us mad a whole choreography for the Christmas Assembly in less than a day, and it turned out better in the assembly than the time we practiced in the classroom. 7th grade was the best basketball season. The 7th/8th grade team took the "W" for Hammond and made history! Moments like these are moments I won't forget." - Alexia Torres
- "The field trips, parties, movies, free time pizza parties, and when the kids made us laugh and the teachers too." - Joana Olvera-Antunez
- "My favorite Hammond memories are having fun with friends during recess and during class. But my most favorite memories is playing in the gym." - Fernando Sanchez
- "Boys and Girls club with Ms. Alamo also school trips and events." - Shoniya Ross
- "The old field trips were fun and the sports too." - Katelyn Mendez-Delgado
- "To meet people that I didn't know existed." - Kitsia Crisostomo
- "Spirit Week" - Liliany Arroyo

To Ms. Baygood, thank you for teaching me that even if life puts difficult battles into our paths, life keeps on going and we have to make the best out of it and overcome those difficulties. To Mr. Butler, thank you for teaching me that life is full of lessons you are free to make choices, but you are not free from the consequences of those choices. Ms. Shanahan, I know I just met you this year but thank you for teaching me that Im not required to set myself on fire to keep others warm. I would also like to thank everyone else who never doubted me and believed in me to push forward. In addition, to those who taught me that we can't look back into things, we just have to accept it and move on." - Alexia Torres
