Acknowledgments:
- " I would like to thank every teacher not just for teaching me but for preparing me for the real world. Words can't explain how thankful I am." - Roberto Orta-Martinez
- "I want to thank Mr. Butler, main reason being is that he was the only teacher on the third floor to stay for all three years. He was a mentor and taught me to always push myself at reading even if I don't particularly like it. He taught me how to be a better man and to be more responsible, respectable, and thoughtful for others. My last teacher is Brother G or Mr. Gonzalez. He was one of the best teachers I've ever met since coming to school. He was never mad and always cool-minded as a person. He taught me many things in basketball, and mostly about being a good man. He made sure that everyone around him was feeling good and happy before he even thought about himself." - Omar Chavez
- "Mr. Swain because he was a good/strict teacher that always wanted us to be more than regular people. Mr. Butler for always helping us learn and to all the teachers who helped me shape my future because they are more than educators, they are more than just a teacher, they are human beings who help children reach their dreams through education and effort." - Jesus Zamora
- "I want to thank Mr. Butler because he was one of the most chill teachers. He helped me a lot with my vocabulary thanks to Membean. He would make us laugh. Mr. Butler always knew when to be serious and when to make fun of us and I think that is how a teacher should be with their students. I am going to miss being in his class. Mr. Butler is the only teacher on the third floor that was there since I was in sixth grade and he was also there to help in America Scores. That was a great time because he helped us make the song that is embarrassing to remember. Thank you Mr. Butler for being my teacher since day one." - Carolina Aburto
- "To all the teachers who helped me since I came to school, in the classes and those who helped me with my English and in classes like Mrs. Machani, Mrs. Sackett, Mr. Ricter who was trying to explain to me in Spanish, Mr. and Mrs. Butler who helped me in classes explaining what I had to do, and to other teachers who helped me." - Yaquelin Rivera
- "Mr. Tressa for being there for me in making me comfortable reading my speech to a group of adults and writing my speeches for Boys and Girls Club. Mr. Butler for always being there in helping me with my assignments." - Joel Cueva
- "I honestly want to thank every teacher on the third floor because they always had faith in me even when I didn't. Also, thank you for helping me through this year of school." - Roselyn Sanchez
- "I want to thank Mr. Ricter and Mr. Zuniga because they both pushed me to do better in school." - Jesus Vega
- "I want to thank all me teachers since I started Hammond. When I stated school in 1st grade I wasn't fluent in English - now I am." - Andrea Ramirez
- "All the third floor teachers because they all challenge us." - Eduardo Gomez
- "Ms. Pena because she made me like learning." - Noel Teutla
- "I would like to thank Mr. Swain and Mr. Gonzalez for putting a lot of effort into basketball and helping my team grow stronger." - Susie Yepez
